History

The Luc Belaire range combines grapes of rare quality with craftsmanship that can only be found at a family-operated winery like ours. Our 5th and 6th generation father-and-son winemaking team continue the traditions their ancestors began when we opened our doors in 1898, first in the town of Montagny-les-Beaune, in the heart of Burgundy, and a few years later in Salon de Provence, in the Cote d' Azur' s Provencal Rose heartland. Our wineries' visionary founders Marie Ambal and Edmond Thery created the reputation for superlative French sparkling wine that we continue today.

Luc Belaire Rose is a unique sparkling rase produced in the world's most famous still rase wine region, Provence. The grape blend is 90% Syrah, 5% Grenache and 5% Cinsault, all of which benefit from the poor, well-drained soil and hat, sunny climate of Provence, which contribute to the wine's complexity, body and structure. The hat climate of Provence is ideal for developing the fruit-forward, jammy qualities of the Syrah grape, which are enhanced by the l 00% Syrah dosage that we add at the final stage of our bottling process, after the wine has aged 6 months in steel tanks.
